Seattle Foundation Repair ("we", "us", or "our") operates foundationrepairseattle.net. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, which is limited to what our forms ask for:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number and email address, where you provide them
  • Your city or ZIP code, and a property address if you give us one for scheduling
  • A description of the concern at your property, plus any photos or documents you choose to send
  • Your stated timing and contact preference
  • The page URL the enquiry was submitted from

We also receive standard technical information that any website receives, such as browser type and approximate region, through our hosting provider and any analytics tooling in use.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and discuss your property
  • To schedule and carry out a foundation evaluation where you request one
  • To prepare and send a written scope or quote
  • To keep project records: observations, assessments, agreed scope, and work performed
  • To meet legal, insurance, permitting, and record-keeping obligations
  • To improve how our website explains our services

We do not add you to a marketing list because you requested a quote. Any promotional communication requires your separate consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

3. Form submissions and processing

Enquiry forms on this site are processed by a third-party lead-capture service that receives the submission and forwards it to us by email. That service applies basic anti-spam handling, strips scripts and HTML from field values, and enforces submission rate limits. Your submission is transmitted over an encrypted connection.

4. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who support our operations, including our form processor and email provider
  • Structural or geotechnical engineers, and other specialists, where your project requires their involvement and you have agreed to it
  • Permitting authorities where a permit application for your property requires the information
  • Professional advisors such as accountants, insurers, and lawyers where necessary
  • Authorities where we are required to by law

5. Photographs and project records

We take photographs during evaluations and work as part of our project records. We do not publish photographs of your property, your home's interior, or anything identifying you without your permission. Where we publish illustrative images on this site in place of real project photography, those images are labelled as illustrative.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and, where work proceeds, for as long as required for warranty, insurance, and legal record-keeping. Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for a limited period and then removed.

7. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete your information, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations
  • Stop sending you any marketing communication

Washington residents have rights under applicable state law, including the Washington My Health My Data Act where it applies. Contact us through the details below to exercise any of these.

9. Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand how pages are used in aggregate. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when one is set. Refusing cookies does not prevent you from using this site or submitting a form.

10. Children

This site is intended for adult property owners and occupants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
